Sunday School for all ages resumes September 17, 9:15 a.m.
We are excited to begin our Sunday School classes this fall. Our children and youth will meet together to start the morning off with a short time of worship before breaking out to their classrooms for age-appropriate lessons as described here. Adults will have a choice of two classes. The Wired Word explores current events and looks at how scripture speaks to what's happening in our world today. The other class will be a video based discussion exploring faith and how we can live it out daily. All are welcome.
Wednesday evening book study begins September 20, 7:00 p.m.
Pastor Norman will lead a book study/discussion on the book "We Make the Road by Walking," by Brian D, McLaren. Each week, we will look at a different reading from the book and explore what a difference an honest, living, growing faith can make in our world today. Free and open to the community.
Taizé Worship begins September 20, 5:30 p.m.
All are invited to a quiet candlelight service of scripture, prayer, and song every Wednesday in our Chapel Room. This 30-minute service offers a mid-week break from busy lives when we can reconnect with God and feed our souls.
Wednesday Supper Fellowship returns September 20, 6:00 p.m.
Take a night off from cooking and enjoy a home-cooked meal with us in our Fellowship Hall most Wednesdays. September 20 will be a taco bar, and September 27 will feature a cowboy breakfast of pancakes, eggs, and sausage. Good food and good conversation with friends old and new. No charge for supper, but donations are always appreciated to help defray costs. All welcome.
Youth Group Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Right after supper, our Jr/Sr High Youth Group will meet in the youth room. All youth are welcome. Bring friends! For more information, contact Jeremiah Nealon, Director of Family Ministry, at email@example.com.
